Description

A navigation system is added to an email in horizontal arrangement on desktop. In a mobile device, this menu will collapse behind a burger menu icon and be requested using a tap.

Functionality

On a mobile device, a burger menu is shown to the user. Clicking on the icon will open a drop-down box with a set of menu items. Although it is defined as a ‘Burger Menu’, it might actually manifest as a drop down of any set of items.

Benefits

In some contexts, allowing the user to navigate to different pages on one’s website has been shown to offer insights into user interests beyond what data can tell us.
